About The Event
The Royton, Shaw, Middleton and Chadderton campaign groups will be congregating at the Tandle Hill monument at 12 noon to demonstrate against building on the greenbelt. If you would like to join one of the marches check with your local campaign group. The details for the Royton leg of the march can be found here on our website.
If you belong to one of the other campaign groups and wish to attend the march further details of routes and meeting places can be found on our blog: https://www.saveroytonsgreenbelt.com/single-post/2019/02/19/Save-the-greenbelt-walk

If you are not able to join one of the marches for whatever reason but would still like to support the campaign then please feel free to join us at the Tandle Hill monument at 12 noon or at the visitor centre from about 1pm where various guest speakers will be giving talks.
We have arranged press and TV coverage for the various sections of our walk, including aerial footage from a professional drone company, but the main feature will be when thousands of us come together at the monument.
