About The Event
Our protest walk will commence from outside Thornham St James' school at 11am, opposite Hanging Chadder, one of the threatened Greenbelt sites. We will be joined by our fellow Shaw group then proceed down Springfield Lane and then right onto Rochdale Road and left onto Thornham Old Road, through another section of threatened Greenbelt. We will continue up Thornham Old Road to meet with our fellow Middleton group, before turning left up to the Tandle Hill monument where we will be joined by the Chadderton group.
If you belong to one of the other campaign groups and wish to attend the march further details of routes and meeting places can be found on our blog: https://www.saveroytonsgreenbelt.com/single-post/2019/02/19/Save-the-greenbelt-walk
